A board retreat in Carthage: one table, and the night on the hill

When a board has decisions to take, it often needs a day away from head office, and sometimes the evening to see the conversation through. Twenty minutes from Tunis, Villa Didon Carthage hosts the meeting in Le Banquet and your party in its ten suites.

The essentials

  • A single table for 20 in Le Banquet
  • Access to the room without passing through guest areas
  • All ten suites can be reserved by one party
  • For a party in all ten suites, a long table at Le RestÔ, facing the bay

The room

Le Banquet is a quiet, self-contained room. For a board or an executive committee, it is laid as a single table, with twenty people seated around it. For a larger group, it can be set in a U-shape for up to 25.

You reach the room without crossing paths with hotel guests.

The day

The day runs much as any seminar at Le Banquet would. For a board, the feature that matters most is video conferencing, for any member joining from elsewhere.

The evening

A party occupying all ten suites dines at Le RestÔ, at a long table reserved for it alone. There is no need to take over Le RestÔ itself, which is only hired exclusively for 60 guests or more.

After dinner, Le Light Bar stays open until 1am: an intimate lounge bar of velvet and brass.

The night, and the morning after

The villa has ten suites, nine junior and one senior, all facing the bay, and a single party may reserve every one of them. Should you need more than ten rooms, the villa will tell you from the very first conversation and will usually arrange the additional accommodation.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by noon. The next morning, breakfast is served at La Proue from 8.30am, and Le Banquet can host a second day of meetings.
